Prompt #1

Find one feature

Good logos have one single feature that sets them apart.

Apple has the bite, Nike has the tick, Macca’s has the M.

By finding and creating one single feature (not two or three) to focus on, you’ll leave your client with a memorable logo that leaves a lasting impression.

Prompt #2

Don’t be afraid of doubt

“Doubt can motivate you, so don’t be afraid of it. Confidence and doubt are at two ends of the scale, and you need both. They balance each other out.”

– Barbara Streisand

Prompt #3

Visual design rules you can safely follow every time

Anthony Hobday’s list of visual design rules covers things like colour contrast, alignment, spacing, and typography to name a few. Of course, breaking design rules can be fun, and Anthony encourages you to go for it if you a have a good reason to – but these are a solid set of rules that will help your designs to be clearer, more accessible and effective.
