“People will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel” – Maya Angelou
The work you do as a designer helps people. So instead of thinking about how you want your designs to turn out, focus on how you can help your client instead.
Be kind, be open and…
Prompt #2
… Remember, it goes both ways
Design is a two-way process. If you are open to your client's ideas, they will be more open to yours. If you don't agree with a suggestion, show them why it won't work and what you think would make it better.
Prompt #3
Always create your logo concepts in black and white
Colour naturally has an effect on the way things look and feel, so while you’re concentrating on getting the form and function of your logo concepts right, make sure to create and present them to your client them in black and white. This way you and your client won’t be distracted by colour preferences and will focus more on the idea behind your concepts.
