Prompt #1

Dare to be disliked

Twelve publishers rejected J.K Rowling’s first Harry Potter book.

Colonel sander’s recipe was rejected 1,009 times before anyone accepted it.

Katy Perry’s first album only sold 200 copies and the label went bankrupt.

It’s risky to have the confidence to not care about what other people think. We like to conform and be people pleasers.

But if your original ideas are good, they will survive. Just keep going.

Prompt #2

Build your self-worth to build confidence

Building an unshakeable sense of self-worth is an essential value for designers, who often create from an emotional place.

“Confidence is tightly linked with self-esteem, which is the immune system of the psyche. If you have a healthy immune system, you might get sick, but you’ll be fine. If your psyche’s immune system – your confidence – is weak, any little negative comment, criticism, or even something as insignificant as a Tweet will threaten to shake you to the core.”
